About / Overview

Dr. Ahsan Rizvi is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric gastroenterologist who performs advanced diagnostics and develops treatment plans for pediatric patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders. His clinical interests include celiac disease, allergic disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and disorders of the gut-brain axis.

Following his medical education at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Dr. Rizvi traveled to Florida. He completed both a pediatrics residency at University of Florida Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville and a pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition fellowship at University of Florida Orlando Health at Arnold Palmer Hospital.

Dr. Rizvi is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. He is a frequent presenter and has published several peer-reviewed articles on a national level on topics including eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and liver failure.

Dr. Rizvi is fluent in the languages of English, Urdu, and Hindi.
