Biography

I am a pediatric endocrinologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating children with hormone disorders including diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth issues and obesity. My initial general pediatric training was at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell, followed by a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin. During my medical school education, I had the opportunity to learn at a hospital in Mumbai, India. I was able to help care for children with significant medical problems and found I was most passionate about caring for all the hormone abnormalities that the children suffered from. This led me to pursue my career in pediatric endocrinology. My particular interest has become diabetes and obesity. I am able to help patients manage weight issues and abnormalities in blood sugar as well as other medical issues associated with these diseases. I am also actively involved in research to improve inpatient diabetes management. I am board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology.
