Biography

Dr. Day Burruss Breen was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. She completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson University followed by medical school at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. After medical school, Dr. Breen completed two years of pediatric residency at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She recently completed her residency and fellowship in Child Neurology and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Breen has a special interest in children with neurodevelopmental disabilities including autism, developmental delay, neonatal neurology, traumatic brain injury, and concussion. She is happily married to her husband Jacob and they enjoy being active outdoors and anything to do with Clemson athletics.
