Biography

Dr. Bettina Ault is a native of New Haven, Connecticut who moved to Tennessee and graduated from Holston High in Knoxville. Dr. Ault went on to receive her BA in Biology from Vanderbilt University and her master’s degree at Harvard University. Medical school at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis followed, with pediatric internship and residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Ault returned to Memphis and UT Health Science Center for her pediatric nephrology fellowship. 

Dr. Ault brings with her a wealth of experience in a variety of areas of nephrology. She has held teaching roles in the departments of pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine and Rush Medical School. She has also acted as a consultant at Baptist Memorial Hospital, The Med, St. Jude’s and Le Bonheur. Dr. Ault has been a volunteer at the Church Health Center in Memphis, Camp Physician at Camp Okawehna, a summer camp for children on dialysis or with renal transplants, and a board member at the National Kidney Foundation of West Tennessee.
